JustBeta is a Beta 1.7.3 Minecraft Server created primarily by Aceicle, Tiggytigo, and twizzlepuff. At one point the "Council" and staffing team also included such notables as Rat, Pikmin4Deluxe, SlashGamerX among others. Most of these others returned to BMC shortly after the creation of JustBeta.

Overview
After his demotion and permanent ban and following his abandonment of WarMC without notice to WarMC's owner, Aceicle created JustBeta with twizzlepuff and other former and current BetaMC players as an alternative server.

Split with Tiggytiggo
After an internal disagreement founder Tiggytigo was removed from JustBeta leadership and left the discord. Later details emerged regarding this incident according to Tiggy (see image)

Boosts
For some reason aceicle paid for 16 boosts for the JustBeta discord server despite it having no activity. Some predict this may have been a reason for the financial difficulties that followed.

Downfall
On September 21, 2026 an announcement was posted on JustBeta discord announcing the shutdown due to Aceicle abandoning the server.

Upon further inquiries in DMs from other players, he clarified the reason for the shutdown was to save money to buy a fursuit, linking an image of a streamer he seems to moderate for on Twitch.
bb771 is the real supreme god king emperor of BetaMC, brother of san, and a master assassin with over 8 googleplex kills.
He was made admin in jest, and once nearly killed one in a duel.

Some items he sells or has sold can be quite overpriced, such as a $35 axe and a $100 gold sword, and another sword that nearly killed SvGaming234.

He often and randomly yells out to admin or mods (e.g ADMIN!!!!!!), usually to challenge one in a 1v1 or for them to tp to him. The sheer intensity of his calls never fail to elicit the attention of at least 1 staff member.

One time, he built a vault DIRECTLY under LazyTurtle1987's house, frustrating him for he wanted to build where the vault now was.

He founded a housing business, a cashino, and both of Jeff's shops; all the builds are located in Fer.

In early March 2025 there was whispers of a bb cult being formed on the server......

bb artifacts
There are various bb artifacts that exist on BMC. These items were owned and used by bb himself and are some of the most valuable and rare items on the server. Listed here are the artifacts which are publicly known about and their whereabouts.
*bb's battleaxe - Purchased by jcheese7 from bb's shop in Spawntown.
*bb's golden sword - Purchased by R0LU from bb's shop in Spawntown.
*bb's dev killer sword - Purchased by R0LU from bb's shop in Spawntown.
*bb's sword that killed san - Purchased by R0LU from one of bb's shop in Fer.

Additional Lore
*The prophecy is nigh, soon he will be back, soon he will rule again...*

pssst, in his shop he has a dirt block, break the dirt block to find a secret room.. Also I wouldn't buy from bb's shops if I were you, the prices are high for easily obtainable stuff..

The Return
On Apr. 13th 2025 bb's brother, san would rejoin the server. Upon being asked a few times he got bb to join the server as well. bb ended up forming a new town, appropriately called "bb".

The Hacking Ban
On Apr. 22 2025 he was banned for using a hacked client, it started when SvGaming234 and Dude123Lego saw that he was clearly using Nofall and Freecam hack, bb claimed that he didn't know that freecam was considered a hack, and denied that he used Nofall. About 30 minutes later he attempted to do a world download, and then when he was with LazyTurtle1987, LazyTurtle1987 noticed that torches were breaking around bb, supposedly a nuker hack had been turned on by accident, after this incident he was banned for 2 weeks by SvGaming234 after being given warnings not to continue hacking.

The token logger incident
Shortly after his hacking ban, bb started sharing around a Discord token logger in SvGaming234's DMs as well as his various Discord servers, which led to his ban being changed to a permanent one.

The Re-Ban
On Apr. 28 2025, bb771 was able to rejoin the Minecraft Server after allegedly purchasing their account, thus changing the UUID of their account. Their last message before being banned (again), was a promise to not hack. After that, they were banned by jcheese7.

The Botting and UUID-Bug incident
He was unbanned once again on August 5th, 2025 but wasn't very active after that. However, on January 11th, 2026, he decided to test his self-written bot program (presumably "vibe coded") and had several bots join the server. At the same time, he used this to promote his custom-made launcher, dubbed NAX. He apparently also used this program to spam another beta server with bots. Server staff proceeded to ban him, though this proved difficult due to a UUID bug; the IP ban failed to work, allowing him to rejoin every time.
I'm SvGaming234, Administrator and Operator of BMC.

Discovery of BMC
I discovered BMC on Nov 6th 2024 when I was reading jcheese7's discord bio and noticed he had the BetaMC website linked. I joined the discord linked on the website and made a ticket to be whitelisted.

Promotion to Developer
On Nov 9th 2024, I was promoted to Developer as I agreed to work on a staff client for the server. Ultimately, I didn't end up working on it since I wasn't very experienced in mod development, and until the move to the new VPS I didn't do much dev work.

Promotion to Operator
On Dec 11th 2024 the hard drive in the VPS used by BetaMC at the time which belonged to Owen2k6 (this was before the server launch) had a hard drive failure upon which the map was lost. jcheese7 ended up renting a dedicated OVH VPS, and I was given Operator due to my knowledge of using Linux.

Promotion to Admin
On April 30th 2025 SvGaming was promoted to Admin.

On July 8th, 2026 SvGaming resigned from staff and was set to Trusted rank.
Jcheese7https://wiki.betamc.org/index.php?title=Staff_List&diff=2682Staff List2026-07-09T01:40:25Z
Jcheese7:

VanillaCake__, often shortened to Vanilla, is an active Moderator and server donator. He is best known for being the first assistant in Grenzstadt and for creating a series of puzzles within his builds.

Player History
Initial Discovery
VanillaCake__ discovered BetaMC in the early morning of January 31st, 2026. Within a few hours, he had founded his personal base, Shiverdale in some snowy plains. Later that day, he chose to join https://minotar.net/helm/KingDaKa4/16.png KingDaKa4's small village of Grenzstadt, interested in making something bigger out of the 5-player tribe.

Developing Grenzstadt
Whilst VanillaCake__ originally planned to focus on Shiverdale, he grew hooked on the idea of turning Grenzstadt into one of the server's largest towns whilst constructing his first build in Grenzstadt, the City Hall. Two days later, VanillaCake__ became Grenzstadt's first assistant as recognition for his activity in building and terraforming in the area. By the end of VanillaCake__'s first week as assistant, Grenzstadt had grown from a 5-player Tribe to a 30-player Town.

From there on, VanillaCake__ built various important and iconic structures in Grenzstadt, such as the Spawn Terrace/Castle, the City Vault, the Palasfeld Wall, and his notoriously incomplete Manor. He also terraformed most of the flatlands upon which other players built, wrote Grenzstadt's rules, and created Grenzcord. During this time, he also successfully applied to become a server staff member.
Jcheese7https://wiki.betamc.org/index.php?title=Staff_List&diff=2319Staff List2026-03-18T22:12:54Z
Jcheese7:

VanillaCake__, often shortened to Vanilla, is an active trial-mod, donator and an assistant in Grenzstadt.

Player History
Initial Discovery
VanillaCake__ discovered BetaMC in the early morning hours of January 31st, 2026. After quickly securing some resources, he founded a base called Shiverdale in the snowy plains some few thousand blocks away from spawn. Later that same day, https://minotar.net/helm/KingDaKa4/16.png KingDaKa4 came online and advertised his village, the tribe of Grenzstadt. Being interested in joining a village and having had already looked into Grenzstadt earlier that day, VanillaCake__ was eager to join.
Developing Grenzstadt
Though he initially intended to work on his own base for the time being rather than another village, VanillaCake___ felt inspired to begin constructing a communal gathering building in Grenzstadt. Within two days of joining, he completed the construction of Grenzstadt Hall. From there, he only grew more passionate about developing the tribe into a thriving town.
After completing Grenzstadt Hall and terraforming several low hills, VanillaCake__ was recognized for his efforts by https://minotar.net/helm/KingDaKa4/16.png KingDaKa4 and granted the rank of assistant. VanillaCake__ went on to transform Grenzstadt into a town; clearing and flattening terrain, laying down roads, constructing a tree farm, creating the village rules, and inviting over a dozen members, all in the span of just a few days.
Jcheese7https://wiki.betamc.org/index.php?title=User:Amfman&diff=2240User:Amfman2026-03-03T17:47:23Z
Jcheese7:

Owen2k6 is a former administrator on BetaMC, well known in the RetroMC server due to his work as developer and networking in the beta community.

Pre-release BMC
BMC was first created as server running on a Polish dedicated machine (dedi) that Owen was renting from OVH. Here Owen provided some initial plugin files from GoPlexMC and initial configuration took place as well as the construction of the original map. A massive spawn cathedral which included a tutorial and admin shop was meticulously created on this original maps. Unfortunately a critical error occurred on the dedi which resulted in the complete loss of all data including backups. As a result BMC had to be restarted from scratch and the map in use today was created.

Resignation
Post release Owen was inactive and focusing on personal projects. As a result he resigned from staff on Jan 25, 2025 and was given Trusted ingame.
Jcheese7https://wiki.betamc.org/index.php?title=User:Owen2k6&diff=1981User:Owen2k62026-01-27T18:35:51Z
Jcheese7:

R0LU is a ex-moderator on Beta MC, he founded the great city of Squirtville.

He started off as a regular player, his first builds were a strip club, and a dirt frog next to the strip club, both builds were east of the spawn town plaza, these builds were later replaced by a simple shop.
R0LU gave jcheese7 the nickname "James Cheese". He was also the founder and Mayor of Squirtville. R0LU's house in squirtville contained a chest with the music disc "cat", this was LazyTurtle1987's first experience with a music disc on BetaMC. He was always friends with Sharkkky, even while building the dirt frog.

He was unfortunately banned on the 16th of April 2025 for X-Ray at the same time as amfman. After appeal was and currently is unbanned.

R0LU owns a vault located in Squirtville which contains most of the servers known Bb771 artifacts.
Jcheese7https://wiki.betamc.org/index.php?title=User:R0LU&diff=1206User:R0LU2025-06-11T15:13:39Z
Jcheese7:
