Introduction
The world border elevator is a teleportation based vertical transportation system that exploits the mechanics of the world border. One of the first known versions of this was created by Anebix, though there may be others that initially made a world border elevetor before them, according to User Joined on June 27th 2026.

Dimensions and Building a Basic WBE
For a single slot WBE, you need a two by four space across the X and Z planes. You must be at the world border to create the elevator. There must be one block just outside of the border. You can tell its out of the border when you attempt to go to that coordinate but get pushed out. the block to the right of that must be empty or lower than the block on the left.
make a square of four more blocks extending outward. Then, on the end, place one block on the right side of that square along the same Y coordinate. If you'd like, you may create steps up to the right side of the platform.
Usage
To use a WBE, you must travel to the area you wish to be elevated to. In the thumbnail showing the basic world border elevator, you you attempt to go to the left front side of the WBE, you would be teleported back to ground level. If you go from the ground to the right side where the gap is, you would be teleported to the back right corner, raised above the ground.
Constraints and Advanced WBE building
More complex WBEs may be constructed, teleporting someone almost anywhere along the Y axis, as long as they have access to the world border. Users may be teleported anywhere below Y119, however attempting to go above this will send the player back to the Spawn Castle. If there is a want to go below ground level, every block from Y120 down to that level must be filled with a solid block that players cannot walk through, or at least every other block because a player cannot fit within a 1 block gap.
