VanillaCake__, often shortened to Vanilla, is a Server Operator and Administrator, as well as a server donator. He is best known for being the Mayor of Grenzstadt, owning and operating the Fürstwaren Store, and for being very active in the community.

Player History

Initial Discovery

VanillaCake__ discovered BetaMC in the early morning of January 31^st, 2026. Later that day, he chose to join KingDaKa4's small village of Grenzstadt.

Involvement in Grenzstadt

Whilst VanillaCake__ originally intended to make his own town, he saw the potential in Grenzstadt and decided to make it one of the server's largest settlements. Within two days, he had become Grenzstadt's first assistant, and within a week, he had grown it from a 5-player Tribe to a 30-player Town.

By March 2026, Grenzstadt had reached 100 members. VanillaCake__ himself had become deeply involved in Grenzstadt's leadership, handling much of the terraforming, road creation, and Discord management. As a result, he was given temporary ownership of Grenzstadt when KingDaKa4 took a two-month break at the end of the month. VanillaCake__ was later given permanent ownership of the town on July 20^th after KingDaKa4 quit the server indefinitely.

Store Ownership

After a mall clearing on April 14th 2026, VanillaCake__ created Vanilla's Wares & Spares!™. The shop quickly became one of the most active player stores in the server thanks to its good prices and frequent restocking of high-interest items.

Given this unexpected success, he used the profits from the shop and his own mining sprees to create the Fürstwaren Store in mid May 2026, which launched with its own warp (/warp store) on May May 29^th. It remains one of the most active shops on the server to this day.

Staff Tenure

VanillaCake__ applied to become a staff member as soon as he was eligible on March 1^st, 2026. He was subsequently accepted and promoted to Trial Moderator on March 5^th. 13 days later, he became a full server Moderator, and one of the most active members of the larger staff team. As a staff member, he is known for carrying out a lot of bans.

On June 25^th, roughly three months after he became a Moderator, VanillaCake__ became the fourth Senior Moderator. Less than two weeks later on July 8^th, VanillaCake__ was promoted to Administrator and given Server Operator permissions.
